Corona, Calif. (March 11, 2010)
– Who says you can't win them all? We know every racer doesn't use Eibach Springs...only the winners do! In 2009, over 25 teams from all over the world rode on Eibach Springs on their way to championships.
This elite group also included nearly 100% of Formula 1 teams; when they use coil springs, they only use Eibach, including the Red Bull Racing F1 team and drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. The team has been an Eibach supporter since 2005 and this year with a combination of wins and podium finishes, helped boost Red Bull Renault to 2nd in drivers and constructer's championship.
The Formula 1 season kicks off this weekend with the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Sakhir.
Eibach Springs would like to thank everyone for their continued gratitude and support in 2009. We look forward to continuing to produce championship winning teams and drivers this 2010 season with many continuing relationships, along with some new ones!
NASCAR and ARCA Racing Series
Hendrick Motorsports Sprint Cup driver Jimmie Johnson picked up his fourth consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup title for the team in 2009 in his No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet. Hendrick teammates Mark Martin and part owner of his team Jeff Gordon finished second and third in championship standings, respectively.
The NASCAR Nationwide Series championship chase proved to be a nail-biter right until the end. Kyle Busch collected his first title in any of NASCAR's three major divisions with the Nationwide Series championship over second-place finisher Carl Edwards. Brad Keselowski put the JR Motorsports No. 88 Chevrolet on the podium in third prior to making the move to the Penske Racing No. 12 Dodge for 2010.
Eibach Spring supports the ARCA Racing Series through an Official Products sponsorship. Although Eddie Sharp Racing's Justin Lofton only spent two seasons in the series before moving up to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, that's all he needed to collect his first ARCA Racing Series championship; Lofton scored six wins and five poles in 2009. Development driver Parker Kligerman seemed to be the favorite most of the season and finished second in points, with veteran ARCA racer Frank Kimmel in third.

Late Models
Eibach Springs is a contingency sponsor of the SRL Spears Southwest Tour Series; the series races at four tracks through California; Altamont Raceway Park, Madera Speedway, Toyota Speedway at Irwindale, and Stockton 99 Speedway. Eibach would like to congratulate the top three finishers in the championship standings from 2009; MK Kanke taking the top prize, Greg Voigt in second and Josh Combs in third.
Eibach team driver Randel King picked up six wins in seven races in the Position One Motorsports No. 77 Chevrolet to capture the inaugural Langers Juice S2 division championship at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale for 2009.

Dirt Racing
Eibach supporter Bud Kaeding became only the second in USAC Silver Crown Series history to claim three series titles; he was honored for this feat in early January in Indianapolis.
Two of the biggest modified and dirt late model races saw Eibach drivers atop the podium at the two separate events in 2009. Randy Havlick won the IMCA Super Nationals Modified Division in September in Boone, Ia.; while dirt late model veteran Bart Hartman picked up his first career win at the World 100 at Eldora Speedway in Ohio. Two Eibach supported drivers were awarded "Rookie of the Year" in their series, Jared Landers took the honors in the O’Reilly Southern Nationals and Chris Ferguson received the honors in the Carolina Clash series.

Open Wheel
Target Chip Ganassi Racing collected the 1-2 sweep in the IndyCar Series championship last season. Dario Franchitti returned to the series full time after a stint in NASCAR and drove his No. 10 Dallara chassis/Honda-powered machine to five wins and five poles and a third career IndyCar championship; his teammate Scott Dixon finished right behind him in second.
In Formula Ford Australia competition, Nick Percat piloted the Sonic Motor Racing entry to 12 wins on the way to his series championship.
Formula 3 is the springboard for many future F1 stars. The Fortec team has also enjoyed a competitive season with lead driver Riki Christodoulou notching up an impressive sixth-place in the driver standings and a creditable 103 points during the 2009 season.

Off-Road Racing
Robby Gordon pulled double-duty in 2009 in both NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition and the SCORE Off-Road Series. Despite his busy schedule, Gordon had enough energy to pilot his Chevy CK 1500 Trophy Truck to the SCORE championship; the duo of Roger Norman/Larry Roeseler finished second in points, with Ed Stout rounding out the top three.
In the same series, Randy Wilson picked up the Class 1 championship, with WRC and Baja legend Armin Schwarz and co-driver Martin Christensen finishing second the series standings.
The Best in the Desert Series crowned driving duo Scott and Andy McMillin champions in the Trophy Truck class. Andy was named the 2009 Dirt Sports Driver of the Year as well.

Drag Racing
Eibach Springs is the class sponsor for the Pure Street division in NMRA-sanctioned event. Eibach would like to congratulate 2009 Pure Street champion Ryan Hecox on a job well done! We would also like to recognize Mark Anderson and Steve Gifford for their second and third-place finishes in point standings.
Eibach would also like to recognize NHRA Pro Stock drivers Greg Anderson and Jason Line of KB Racing; the teams finished second and third in the 2009 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series championship points.

Rally, Sports and Touring Car
On the grueling stages of the World Rally Championship (WRC), the phenomenally close battles between eventual winner Loeb and second place Eibach man, Hirvonen in his factory backed M-Sport Ford Focus, made for plenty of bitten nails in the Eibach camp all season. With Hirvonen leading for most of the latter half of the championship, it was a very close call all year. Circumstances saw Loeb take a slim win on the very last event, however.
In the United Kingdom, Roger Clark Motorsport enjoyed an impressive 'whitewash' year after making the switch to Eibach Springs on their Subaru Impreza, as well as taking the much vaunted 'Ten Of The Best' title where cars are pitted head to head in a multi-discipline test of sprinting, drag racing and circuit racing. The team also won the UK Time Attack Championship in the same car.
The teams in the German Rally Championship also trust in the technology made in Finnentrop. The racing team of Hermann Gassner Jr., has been an official partner of Eibach for many years. In 2009, Hermann Gassner Jr. was nominated youngest German Rally Champion ever; at the final PWRC race in Wales, he came in with the third quickest time.
The British Touring car Championship (BTCC), long-term Eibach technical partner Triple 8 Racing once again took Vauxhall to the team and manufacturer's title in the Vauxhall's last official year in the series. Narrowly missing out on the driver's title too, the UK-based team was quick to praise the role of chassis set-up in assisting their recurring victories.
In Germany, Eibach is the official supplier to all DTM (German Touring Masters) factory teams of Audi Sport. As the first ever automobile manufacturer, Audi achieved a title hat-trick in the DTM ´09 series: After 2007 and 2008, the brand with the four rings captured the coveted trophy for the third consecutive time. Audi driver Timo Scheider stayed on the heels of his only remaining rival for the title, Gary Paffett, during the entire 39 laps in the finale at the Hockenheimring and thus successfully defended his title from last year with a second-place finish.
Also at the SEAT Leon Supercopa Cup, which has been staged as part of the DTM since 2004, race teams are placing their faith in Eibach motorsports technology as Eibach is the official partner of the SEAT Supercopa Cup. Thomas Marschall of Team Black Falcon was named the 2009 champion with teammate Christer Jöns finishing in second in points, also collecting Rookie of the Year honors.
In the hugely prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France, it was one again a case of Eibach equipped teams dominating proceedings. Peugeot took a diesel 1-2 after an exciting race, with Audi making up the final spot on the podium. Making it a perfect finish for Eibach engineers was the fourth place (and top petrol finisher) of the Prodrive Aston Martin.
And of course, let's not forget the grassroots racers. Each and every weekend around the world there have simply been hundreds of clubman level victories on Eibach products. There's far too many to mention and although these wins don't carry the corporate cachet of the major team results, they are still very important to us. Success means just as much at every level of the sport.
With many technical partners and teams already signed and ready to go for the 2010 calendar, here's looking forward to even more success this year.
